Services

Room Cleaning

Mid-stay cleanings are for longer visits to keep things eco-friendly. Stays of 4 nights get one cleaning, with another added every 3 nights after that (2 cleanings for 7 nights, 3 cleanings for 10 nights, and so on). Cleanings are spaced evenly across your stay.

Need extra cleanings beyond what's included? Just reach out to the front desk to arrange these for a small fee. You can also skip cleaning completely by using the "No Thanks" magnet on your door.

Need your trash emptied? Put the "Garbage Pickup" magnet on your door before 10:30 AM. Just make sure the "No Thanks" magnet isn't up at the same time, or we won't be able to come in.

Luggage Storage

Store your luggage after checking out at the 24/7 self-service storage area on the 1st floor of Kabin Taka, located just a 2-minute walk away.

Amenities

Daily essentials can be restocked anytime at the amenity area located on the 1st floor outside the elevators.

We also offer a selection of free rental items for your added convenience and comfort, such as irons, humidifiers, chargers, safes, and more.
For any of these items, or for any other requests, feel free to reach out to our front desk staff.

Food & Beverage

Need a coffee, a bite to eat, or a cheeky drink? Take a short walk to Kabin Kyoto.

KRFT Coffee & Bar is open daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with breakfast served until 11:00 AM and last orders at 10:30 PM.
Check out our full menu here.

During regular service hours, we kindly ask that the seating area be reserved for guests enjoying food or drinks from KRFT.

Fitness

Looking to stay active during your trip? Visit the gym at Kabin Taka, open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

We also host guided yoga sessions with Rin every Tuesday and Friday from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM—the perfect way to start your travel day feeling refreshed and ready to explore Kyoto.
(Gym access is unavailable from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM to accommodate the yoga class.)

Speak with our Front Desk team for more information or directly reserve your spot here.

In Room

AC Unit

The air conditioning control panel is located on the wall in your entryway.

Switch between functions using the "Mode" button.

To handle the high humidity during Japanese summers, we recommend setting the mode to "ドライ" (Dry) instead of "冷房" (Cool) or "自動" (Automatic) for the most comfortable room temperature.

TV

Our TVs show local Japanese television channels. If you would like to stream your own shows, you are welcome to plug in your own streaming device using the HDMI port on the TV.

Bidet Toilet

To flush the toilet, you can use the control panel on the wall or turn the manual lever on the side of the water tank.

In the Common Areas

Common Space

Located on the 1st floor past the elevators, our shared common space is open to all guests looking for a place to work, eat, or unwind.

Feel free to help yourself to the fresh water server and shared microwave at any time.

Microwave

Our shared microwave is located in the common area on the 1st floor.

Laundry

A coin-operated washer and separate dryer are located on the 1st floor, with detergent automatically added during the wash cycle.

As a courtesy to other guests, we kindly ask that you remove your laundry as soon as the cycle finishes so everyone has a chance to use the machines.
